Iran, Belgium FMs hold phone talks

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has held talks with his Belgian counterpart Ms. Hadja Lahbib over issues of mutual interest as well as the latest regional and international developments in a telephone conversation initiated by the top Belgian diplomat.

The Belgian foreign minister offered condolences to Amir-Abdollalian over the earthquake in the city of Khoy and said her country is ready to send relief aid to Iran.

Amir-Abdollahian and Lahbib also expressed hope that in light of joint efforts, ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Belgium will expand more than ever before.

The two sides also discussed the latest state of consular cooperation during the telephone conversation.
