good news iran: 3 Iranian sailors released from Pakistan’s Karachi prison
Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Consul General in Karachi Hassan Nourian announced that three Iranian sailors have been released from prison in Karachi and returned to their homeland just before Eid al-Adha.
“With continuous and worthy efforts of the Consulate General Iran in Karachi, in order to protect the rights of Iranians abroad, three Iranian sailors were released from prison in Karachi, Pakistan, and returned to our beloved country by Iran Air,” Nourian wrote on his official Twitter account.
The released sailors were detained by Pakistan Coast Guards on charges of entering into Pakistani waters illegally.
