Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian feature film “African Violet” directed by Mona Zandi Haghighi has been invited to Atlanta Film Festival in the US.
“African Violet” will be screened at the 45th annual Atlanta Film Festival in the US.
The 2021 Atlanta Film Festival is the region’s preeminent celebration of cinema. The event will be held from April 22 – May 2, 2021.
“African Violet” has previously participated in other American festivals including Boston, Houston, Texas, St. Louis and Phoenix.
Fatemah Motamed-Aria, Saeed Aghakhani and Reza Babak are among the film’s cast.
“When Fereydoun’s children put him in a nursing home, his ex-wife Shokoo takes him to her house although her new husband does not quite approve,” according to the summery of the story.
