In the early hours on Sunday, September 5, the fire burned some parts of Karkheh Nature Reserve in Khuzestan Province, which is home to Persian fallow deer.
Fortunately, the fire was extinguished by firefighters before reaching the habitat of Persian fallow deer.
Over 30 fires have been reported in Karkheh Nature Reserve in the past six months.
