Iran’s embassy in Kabul announced that Tehran will sent medicines and medical aids to the injured and families of victims of the terrorist attack in a mosque in Afghanistan’s Kunduz province.
“An Iranian-flagged plane carrying humanitarian aid including medicine and medical items will fly from Tehran to Kunduz in Afghanistan today to hand over these humanitarian aids to the injured and families of victims of this terrorist attack,” Iranian embassy in Kabul wrote on its Twitter account on Monday.
A suicide bombing at the Shia mosque in Afghanistan’s northeastern city of Kunduz during Friday prayers killed more than 100 people and wounded 200 others.
The Islamic State in Khorasan Province, ISKP (ISIS-K) claimed responsibility for the attack through its Telegram channels on Friday.
