 12 Iranian films will be screened at different sections of the 45th edition of São Paulo International Film Festival in Brazil.

São Paulo International Film Festival has announced the full line-up for its 45th edition. Accordingly, Iranian film “A Hero” directed by Asghar Farhadi, “Without everything” by Mohsen Gharaei, “Absence” by Ali Mosaffa, “When Pomegranates Howl” by Granaz Moussavi, “No Choice” by Reza Dormishian, “The Dogs didn’t sleep last night” by Ramin Rasouli and a documentary “Radiograph of a Family” by Firouzeh Khosrovani will be screened at the International Vision section of the event.

At the New Filmmakers Competition section, Iranian films “District Terminal” directed by Bardia Yadegari and Ehsan Mirhosseini, “At the end of Evin” by Mohammad Torab-Beigi and Mehdi Torab-Beigi, “Hit the Road” by Panah Panahi, “Without Aban” by Mehrdad Kuroshnia and “Zalava” by Arsalan Amiri will be screened.

The São Paulo International Film Festival is a competitive festival with an emphasis on independent works. The festival features an international selection reflecting the diversity of contemporary filmmaking and revealing new talents.

The 45th edition of the São Paulo International Film Festival will be held on 21 October – 3 November 2021 in Brazil and it presents 264 films from 50 countries.
