Iran athlete ranks 1st at Asian Classic Powerlifting Champs

Alireza Rezaei grabbed a gold medal in the weight category of 105kg.

Following the Iranian athlete, his opponents from Kazakhstan and Mongolia ranked 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

The championship comprises three powerlifting categories, namely squat, bench press, and dead-lifting.

Over 600 athletes from 29 Asian countries are competing at the event.
