good news iran: Archery / popular recreation in Golshahr
Tehran (ISNA) – Golshahr is one of the neighborhoods of Mashhad City that has been the place of residence of Afghan immigrants in recent decades.
Some Golshahr residents, mostly elderly Afghan immigrants, have turned to archery for having leisure during their retirement.
The youth living in this neighborhood have also joined the elderly in practicing archery using sports equipment.
They have dubbed themselves “Jumong of Golshahr”, the character from a famous South Korean historical drama series.
