good news iran: Tehran to follow up Iran-Oman-Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan quadripartite agreement: FM

 Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stressed that Tehran- Muscat relations are long-lasting and enduring.

Upon his arrival in Muscat, Amir-Abdollahian told reporters, “During the one-day visit, I will meet with Omani Foreign Minister and other senior officials to discuss expansion of bilateral relations and regional issues”.

“Tehran- Muscat relations are long-lasting and enduring and we are willing to improve bilateral cooperation in fields of trade and economy,” he added.

“In the past, a quadripartite agreement was reached between Iran, Oman, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to revive the transit line and we hope to follow up this issue during this trip,” Amir-Abdollahian went on to say.

Iranian Foreign Minister on Monday morning left Tehran for the Omani capital Muscat for meetings and talks with Omani officials.

The main agenda of the talks during this visit is examining available options to expand mutual ties in different political, economic and cultural fields and to discuss major regional issues.

A political delegation accompanies the Iranian foreign minister during this visit.
