good news iran: Sadeh Festival in Kerman, Yazd

People of Kerman and Yazd held the ancient festival of Sadeh on Sunday night, January 30.
Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, this year’s Sadeh festival was held in the presence of a limited number of people.
Sadeh is an ancient mid-winter festival dating back to Iran’s pre-Islamic past to honor fire and defeat the forces of darkness, frost, and cold.
Zoroastrians celebrate the Sadeh 50 days before the Persian New Year, known as “Nowruz”.
