Iranian feature film “Zalava” directed by Arsalan Amiri will be screened at the official section of the 14th edition of Mórbido, International Horror and Fantasy Film Festival in Mexico.
Mórbido, International Horror and Fantasy Film Festival is being run from October 28 through November 3 in Mexico.
The Day of the Dead celebration is one of the most representative festivities in Mexican culture, so this festival decided to honour traditional sugar skulls by turning them into Mórbido’s official award.
“Zalava” set in the titular small village in 1978, wherein villagers claim that a demon is among them.
