Iran’s export to EU sees 31% hike: Eurostat

Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, in its latest report announced that trade between Iran and the European Union in the first eight months of the current year grew by 28 percent compared to the same period a year ago, reaching 3,400 million euros.

The total trade between Iran and the 27 members of the EU in the first eight months of this year 3 billion and 403 million euros was registered, the source added.

Iran and EU trade exchanges in the said period have increased by 28% compared to the same period a year earlier, the report noted.

In the first eight months of 2021, the value of trade between the two sides amounted to 2 billion and 649 million euros, it added.
