good news iran: Iranian short film “The Tank” to be screened at Brooklyn Film Festival
Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian short film “The Tank” directed by Mojtaba Pourabdollah will be screened at the 24th edition of Brooklyn Film Festival in the United States.
“The Tank” has been selected from 2595 submissions from 91 countries and it is the only representative of Iranian cinema in the competitive section of the event.
The 24th Brooklyn Film Festival will be staged online, where all the selected films will play non-stop for ten days. The event will run from June 4 – 13, 2021.
“The Tank” tells the story of Abolfazl, a 10-year-old boy who lives in an apartment which on the roof there is a tank of water that supplies the water of the building. He along with his friends go on the roof to swim in the tank as a hobby. One day Abolfazl closes the lid of the tank while Mohammad is in it.
