Iran’s FM holds talks with Bosnia’s Grand Mufti

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held a meeting with the Grand Mufti (Reis-ul-Ulema) of Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein Kavazović during a visit to the Balkan country.

The two sides discussed the status, common Muslim Values, and the two countries’ shared culture and history.

During the talks, the top Iranian diplomat pointed to a rise in Islamophobia in the world and the tough conditions of spiritual leadership for Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, expressing gratitude for the senior cleric’s efforts.

For his part, the Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina praised the Islamic Republic’s support for Muslims in the Balkan state.
