Iran-Oman trade volume to reach $2 billion soon
Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian ambassador to Muscat, Ali Najafi stressed that relations between Iran and Oman is on a growing path.
He made the remarks at a ceremony to commemorate the 44th anniversary of the victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution with senior Omani government officials, including Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef in attendance.
Announcing that he expects bilateral trade volume to reach a record figure of $2 billion in the year to March, Najafi added, “In line with Iran’s policy to strengthen ties with regional countries, we extend a hand of friendship to all of our neighbors”.
“Dialogue is the best way. This policy is rooted in the culture and literature of Iran,” the ambassador went on to say.
