Russian Gazprom CEO to visit Tehran

Miller, who is paying an official visit to Tehran at the head of a delegation, plans to meet with his Iranian counterparts.

Iranian ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali has already held a meeting with Alexey Miller during which they shared their perspectives towards gas and energy cooperation.

Jalali described the attendance of GAZPROM at Iranian gas and oil projects “beneficial”, as referring to developing multilateral cooperation.

Miller, in his turn, announced his readiness to continue energy talks with Iranian officials, while blaming the European Commissioner for Energy due to its “incorrect mistakes” and the challenges appeared in the energy market of Europe.
