“Deer”, “The Dream of a Horse” to attend Trento Film Festival

Tehran (ISNA) –One Iranian short film and a documentary will participate in the 71st Trento Film Festival, one of the oldest international film festivals.

Iranian short film “Deer” directed by Hadi Babaeifar and Iranian documentary “The Dream of a Horse” directed by Marjan Khosravi will attend the 71st Trento Film Festival.

The 71st Trento Film Festival will be held from 28 April – 7 May in Trento, Italy.

“Deer” narrates the story of a little boy who has to watch helplessly while his sick brother struggles to remain alive. When his parents take him away to relatives, Ehsan sets off for home again through the snowy night, to defend his brother against the angel of death.

Regrading the plot summary of “The Dream of a Horse”, Shahnaz, the oldest daughter of a nomad family, loves writing and her stories are inspired by her lifestyle. Her father wants to marry her off to better the family’s condition, but Shahnaz wants to pursue bigger dreams.

Founded in 1952, Trento Film Festival is the oldest international film festival dedicated to the mountains, adventure and exploration. The Trento festival has represented the point of reference on these subjects for almost 70 years, over time transforming itself into a genuine testing ground for visions and ideas on the highest lands on earth, embracing an ever-increasing range of interests, including environmental and cultural issues and current affairs, making the festival environment and programme even more varied and stimulating, according to its official website.
