Iran’s FM appoints new assistant on Caspian Sea affairs

Alireza Jahangiri has a PhD in international law and has previously served as Iran’s ambassador to the Netherlands and Iran’s permanent representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). He has also served for a period as director general of Iranian Foreign Ministry’s International Law Department.
