Omani Commerce, Industry Minister surprised by Iran’s industrial achievements

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian First Vice President, Mohammad Mokhber said that Iran is fully prepared to enhance economic interactions and cooperation with Oman, as describing Tehran- Muscat ties historic and friendly.

Mohammad Mokhber held a meeting with Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef in which declared, “Economic relations of both countries have not boosted based on the political interactions. It requires attempts to expand economic interactions just like friendly ties of both countries”.

He went on to say, “Iran has achieved much success in different industrial fields and we are ready to boost our own cooperation with Oman in the light of these fields,” as referring to cooperation of both countries in case of energy, industry, medical equipment and medicine.

The Omani Minister noted, “We are surprised by success and accomplishments of Iran’s industry,” while emphasizing serious will and determination of his own country to strengthen ties with Iran.

“I hope that a new season of bilateral ties will be opened through the coming official visit of Oman’s King to Iran,” Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef added.
