Sultan of Oman arrives in Tehran
Tehran (ISNA) – Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tarik arrived in Tehran on Sunday for a two-day visit.
Upon his arrival at the Mehrabad International Airport in Tehran, Sultan of Oman was welcomed by Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber.
Welcoming Sultan of Oman and his accompanying delegation, Mokhber pointed to the long-standing relations and extensive capacities of the two countries and expressed hope that this trip would be beneficial for the Iranian and Omani nations as well as the countries of the region.
Negotiations on bilateral relations between Iran and Oman and the signing of several cooperation documents aimed at strengthening economic and trade cooperation are among the important goals of Sultan of Oman’s two-day trip to Tehran.
