The following is parts of his interview with ISNA.

What is your goal in the coaching field?

My personal goal in the future is to first learn a lot from José Morais. Of course, every coach wants to lead a big team. For me, it is important to focus and learn now. We’ll see what happens. I shouldn’t rush in this area.

Do you have a dream of coaching big teams?

Yes, I think about these things and I would love to one day coach a big team. Until then, I have to add to my knowledge.

Mehdi Taremi, Iranian football player and forward in FC Porto team has claimed the title of the top scorer at Liga Portugal. How do you see his performance?

Mehdi Taremi is a great striker. He always scores goals and is a very important player for Porto. Taremi made a very important and good decision and now he is one of the best players in the Iranian national football team. I am happy that he went to Portugal and showed his high quality. There are many good players in Iran who have high technique and strong mentality and can become great players in the world stage.

How did you see Ronaldo’s presence in Saudi Arabia so far? Many say Ronaldo should return to Europe. What is your opinion?

I have to say that it was his own decision. I am happy because he is happy with his choice. He will have great impact on Saudi Arabia’s football because he is the best player in the world. I don’t know if he will return to Europe or not. Anyway, he has a contract and any decision he makes is up to him.
