Iranian FM to visit 3 states of Persian Gulf

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian will travel to three states of the Persian Gulf on Tuesday.

During the regional tour, he will visit Oman, Qatar and Kuwait.

According to reports, his trip will be carried out in line with the Iranian government’s “neighborhood diplomacy” to follow up on issues of common concern and strengthen bilateral relations.

The importance of this trip goes beyond bilateral relations and will address important issues between Tehran and Washington, as Oman and Qatar now play a mediator role between these two countries in reducing tensions, exchanging prisoners, and nuclear negotiations.
