Iran wins colorful medals at Asian Taekwondo Poomsae C’ships

Iranian male and female taekwondo athletes won a total of 2 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze medals on the tournament’s opening day.

Iranian female taekwondo athletes Yasaman Limouchi and Mahdie Oghbaee each won a gold medal, while Atousa Farahmand secured a silver medal.

Iranian male taekwondo athletes Yasin Zandi and Mehdi Jamali each claimed a silver medal, and Ali Soleimani and Mohammad-Taghi Hatami received bronze medals.

The 8th Asian Taekwondo Poomsae Championships are taking place at Tien Son Sports Center in the central city of Da Nang, Vietnam from May 21-31.
