Iran unveils Fattah 2 hypersonic missile

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who is the commander of all Iranian armed forces toured the exhibition of the latest achievements of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)  which was held at Ashura Aerospace Science and Technology University on Sunday.

During the Leader’s visit, the howgrown Fattah 2 hypersonic missile was unveiled on Sunday.

Fattah 2 is a hypersonic (supersonic) missile with glide capability, which is categorized in the HGV hypersonic weapons class.

Only 4 countries in the world, the Islamic Republic of Iran included have the technology to manufacture this type of hypersonic weapon.
