Iran’s men’s goalball qualify for 2024 Paralympics

Team Melli also qualified for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris as the winners.

Earlier in the day, China defeated Thailand in the bronze-medal match.

The Chinese squad, already qualified for Paris 2024 thanks to the silver medal in the last 2022 IBSA Goalball World Championships that took place in Portugal, used some young players in this competition.

Iran defeated Kazakhstan 10-0, Mongolia 11-1, South Korea 9-6, Pakistan 10-0, and Japan and Thailand in the competition held in Hangzhou, China.
