Tehran (ISNA) – Rice farmers in Mazandaran Province of Iran begin preparing their rice paddies by letting water flow into the fields in March every year.
At the beginning of April, farmers cultivate rice and sow the fields with rice seeds.
Then, rice farmers cover their fields with plastics to prepare seeds to sprout.
Farmers cultivate rice either with agriculture machinery or using traditional ways.
