Gathering of Mourners in Larestan During the Final Days of Safar + Photos

As we approach the final days of the Islamic month of Safar—following Arba’een—Muslims, particularly Shia communities, commemorate a period marked by three significant events: the passing of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the martyrdom of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (AS), and the martyrdom of the eighth Shia Imam, Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (AS). To honor these occasions, mourning ceremonies are held in mosques, religious gatherings, and community centers.
