Egyptian, Russian FMs confer on Iran nuclear issue

Russian FM Lavrov spoke by phone with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty on Sunday

The two ministers discussed the situation surrounding Iran’s nuclear program, stressing the need to avoid further escalation, according to the Russian media.

The phone call came after Abdelatty held separate phone discussions with Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi and IAEA chief Rafael Grossi to advance peaceful solutions for Iran’s nuclear program.
