good news iran: Int’l Oriental Film Festival of Geneva to host 5 Iranian films

The 16th edition of International Oriental Film Festival of Geneva will be held from June 21-27, 2021.

“Careless Crime” directed by Shahram Mokri will go on silver screened in Switzerland after its screening at the festival.

The Iranian documentary “Walking with the Wind” directed by Mehdi Shadizadeh will participate in the competition section of the event.

“Walking with the Wind” is a story about the various dimensions of late Abbas Kiarostami’s works and is currently on display at the Georges Pompidou Center in Paris.

Also, the short films “Inner Self” directed by Mohammad Hormozi and “Yocheved” directed by Sahar Khoshcheshman will be screened in the short film competition section of the festival.

Two short films “Exam” directed by Sonia Hadad and “The Spit” directed by Armin Rahimian and Emad Emaminia will also compete at the Audience Award section of the event.
