good news iran: Iran’s “Breaktime” to vie at San Francisco Frozen Film Festival

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian short film “Breaktime” directed by Navid Nikkhah-Azad will be screened at the short film competition section of the 15th edition of San Francisco Frozen Film Festival in the United States.

The San Francisco Frozen Film Festival (SFFFF) is a Nonprofit organization founded in 2006 that is dedicated to creating avenues for independent filmmakers, youth, filmmakers of conscience, and artists from underserved communities to come together and exhibit their work to the widest possible audience.

“Breaktime” tells a story of a high school girl who wants to sneak out of school during breaktime with the help of her three friends and go to Azadi Stadium to watch the football match of her favorite team.

The film is starring Mozhan Kordi, Reyhane Nabiyan, Niloofar Shokouhinia and Ghazal Khalili.

The 15th San Francisco Frozen Film Festival will be staged online due to coronavirus pandemic. The event will run from July 14-18, 2021.
