Iran and Japan have signed an agreement on customs cooperation.

Japan’s embassy in Tehran announced on Sunday that the agreement was signed in the Iranian capital earlier today between Japanese ambassador to Tehran Aikawa Kazutoshi and Chairman of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Mehdi Mirashrafi.

The purpose of the agreement is to provide administrative support for customs cooperation, the embassy wrote on its official Twitter account.
