Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov held a meeting in Moscow on Wednesday.
Iranian foreign minister arrived in Moscow on Tuesday to meet with senior Russian officials.
Expanding bilateral relations between Tehran and Moscow as well as consultation on the latest developments in Syria, Afghanistan and South Caucasus are among the most important topics of discussion between the high-ranking delegations of the two countries.
Last night, Amir-Abdollahian met with Iranian ambassador and a group of managers of Iranian foundations in Moscow during which he stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready for further expansion of comprehensive ties with Russia speedily and logically.
This is Amir-Abdollahian’s first visit to Moscow as Iranian foreign minister.
