Vamenan Village, located in Golestan Province, has a population of nearly two thousand.
People living in Vamenan Village have been growing saffron for 20 years, and the village is the biggest producer of saffron in Golestan Province.
Nearly 400 hectares of saffron fields are harvested in the village during autumn every year.
Growing saffron is one of the most profitable jobs among Iranian farmers.
