Iran’s cinema won 4 awards at the 8th Duhok International Film Festival in Iraqi Kurdistan.
The 8th Duhok International Film Festival was held November 15-22 in Iraqi Kurdistan, screening 44 Kurdish and 49 international films.
Iranian feature film “Zalava” directed by Arsalan Amiri won Best Director award and Navid Pourfaraj won Best Actor award for this movie.
Moreover, Iranian actress Maryam Boubani won Best Actress award for “Sisters Apart” directed by Daphne Charizani.
The Best Documentary award of the festival went to Iranian documentary “Holy Bread” directed by late Rahim Zabihi.
