Iranian, Polish FMs hold telephone conversation

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his polish counterpart Zbigniew Rau have held talks on bilateral ties, consular issues and some international developments on the phone.

In this conversation, Amir-Abdollahian described relations between Tehran and Warsaw as “good”.

The top diplomats also discussed the latest developments in bilateral ties and the holding of the joint commission of the two countries.

Rau for his part pointed to the historical relations between Iran and Poland, stressing that his country considers ties with Iran as important.

The Polish foreign minister described Iran as Poland’s important partner in the region. Rau further expressed hope that the sanctions removal talks will pay off.
