Iranian FM, Serbian PM hold talks

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held a meeting with Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić on Monday in Belgrade.

Referring to the meeting of the presidents of the two countries on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, Amir-Abdollahian emphasized the necessity of implementing the agreements made between the two countries.

He expressed hope that the promotion of cooperation between the two countries will provide the necessary ground for the development of the relations between Iran and Serbia.

Amirabdollahian left for Belgrade on Sunday and held talks with Serbian Foreign Minister, Ivica Dačić.

Iranian foreign minister is also expected to meet with Serbian Parliament Speaker, Defense Minister and Minister of Agriculture.
