Iran, Denmark stress on strengthening consular consultations

Tehran (ISNA) – Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, minister of foreign affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Lars Lokke Rasmussen, minister of foreign affairs of Denmark, discussed the latest state of bilateral relations and ways to develop them in a telephone conversation on Sunday night.

In this telephone conversation, the Iranian foreign minister considered the historical relations between the two countries to be a great asset for both sides and emphasized the necessity of solving the existing challenges and developing relations between them.

The foreign minister of Denmark once again announced his strong opposition to insulting the Holy Quran and condemned such actions.

In this conversation, the parties agreed to establish a mechanism to strengthen consular consultations between the two countries.
