good news iran: Hotu Cave / A story from living in cave to sedentism

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian archaeologists have begun excavations in Hotu Cave, located in Behshahr City of Mazandaran Province, approximately 70 years after American archaeologists had excavated there.
By excavating the cave, archaeologists obtain additional information regarding primitive humans living in the cave and how sedentism began.
Remains of two children have been discovered thus far in Hotu cave, and archaeologists hope to find more information about humans living 12 thousand years ago.
