Iran to unveil Persian Gulf, Trio Islands’ atlas for 1st time

The “Persian Gulf and the Trio Islands” atlas is a unique collection of 27 historical maps, all of which have been collected from the treasures of Dafineh museums.

A distinctive feature of these maps is that they were prepared by prominent European cartographers throughout different centuries. The oldest map in this atlas dates back to the 17th century.
