Judiciary: No Attack on Police Station 157 in Masoudieh

On Friday, February 1, the Media Center of the Judiciary announced that contrary to certain reports circulating in the media and on social networks, no armed attack occurred at Police Station 157 located in the Masoudieh district of Tehran.
According to Good News Agency, the official statement from the Judiciary clarified that on the night of Thursday, January 31, some media sources alleged an armed assault on the mentioned police station. However, thorough field investigations and reports from law enforcement agencies confirmed that the claim was false.
The Judiciary’s media office explained that the incident involved a private vehicle driven by an individual in an abnormal state—possibly under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or psychoactive substances—who attempted to enter the premises of a former army base near the police station. This unusual behavior involved the car physically hitting the entrance gate and was swiftly stopped by the stationed security forces.
Following the event, law enforcement agents quickly arrived at the scene and arrested the driver. Upon the order of judicial authorities, a legal case was filed, and the suspect was handed over to the relevant bodies for further investigation.
The Judiciary emphasized the importance of accuracy in news dissemination and urged media outlets to verify sensitive or security-related information with official sources before publication.
