Mehrabad Airport Denies Publishing Recruitment Ads / Warns of Online Scams

On November 6, the Public Relations Office of Mehrabad International Airport issued an official statement firmly denying the publication of any recruitment advertisements attributed to the airport on social media and warned the public to remain vigilant in the face of such suspicious content.
According to Good News Agency, the statement explained that in recent days, some social media users and unofficial channels have circulated fake job advertisements under the title “Recruitment at Mehrabad Airport,” claiming to offer job opportunities in various departments of the airport. Mehrabad’s PR office stated clearly that there is currently no official hiring process underway at the airport and that all such advertisements are false and legally invalid.
The statement emphasized that any official announcements regarding recruitment will only be made through the official website of the Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company or other reliable and verified media outlets.
The notice concluded with a call for citizens to avoid sharing personal information or making payments in response to suspicious ads—particularly on unofficial platforms—and to report such cases to legal authorities. It also warned of the growing presence of scammers and fraudulent individuals operating in online spaces.
