“Light Blue” Poster Unveiled Ahead of Nationwide Release

As the nationwide release of the feature film Light Blue approaches, the official poster—designed by Mohammad Taghipour—has been unveiled.

According to Good News Agency The film, which had its premiere at the 42nd Fajr Film Festival and received a warm reception from critics and the media, is set to hit cinemas across Iran on Wednesday, June 12.

Light Blue stars Mehran Ahmadi, Mehran Ghafourian, Sara Hatami, Morteza Aminitabaar, Rouhollah Zamani, Ali Akbar Asanlou, Kazem Hajir Azad, and Saman Mahkouyeh, among others.

The story centers on the discovery of a rare turquoise stone, which leads Younes—the respected town elder and mine owner—into a dangerous and transformative journey.

The film was nominated for several awards at the Fajr Film Festival, including Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Production Design, Best Original Score, Best Cinematography, and Best Sound Design.

Light Blue is a co-production of the Owj Arts and Media Organization, Farabi Cinema Foundation, and the Imam Reza International Foundation. The screenplay was written by Amir Abili and Davood Ganjavi.
