Iran's science ministry official: More than 2,200 Iranian papers retracte, a retracted paper's author is not a criminal

The director-general of the Science Ministry’s Office of Research Policy and Planning said more than 2,200 Iranian scientific papers have been retracted, but stressed that having a paper retracted does not make an author a criminal, calling for research ethics committees at universities to set policies that prevent such cases before they happen.
