good news iran: Iranian documentary “Holy Bread” to be screened at ZagrebDox

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian documentary “Holy Bread” directed by late Rahim Zabihi will be screened at the ZagrebDox International Documentary Film Festival in Croatia.

In its seventeenth international presence, “Holy Bread” will be screened at the main competition section of the ZagrebDox.

In the section, the Iranian documentary will compete with 17 films from Poland, Russia, Germany, Bulgaria, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, France, USA, Argentina, Switzerland, Georgia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Chile, Netherlands, Spain, Czech Republic, Nigeria and Slovakia.

The documentary highlights the dangerous work of Kurdish Kulbars.

Kulbars are workers who transport heavy goods on foot across the Iranian border passing through rocky, steep and slippery mountainous pathways to make a living to support their families.

Mehrdad Oskouei, Iranian documentary maker is one of the jury members of the festival.

The 17th edition of the ZagrebDox International Documentary Film Festival will be held from June 13 to 20, 2021.
